TapNTable news and releases, straight from behind the scenes.
Your menu visible to search engines with an automatic robots.txt and sitemap, an update channel and support policy, release notes inside the app, kitchen and POS screens that know when they were updated, and campaigns in each customer's language.
Legal pages that show what the admin wrote, restaurant variables always up to date, cookies by category with a consent log, and CSV export in every report.
A page just for takeaway orders, a widget matching the public page, a receipt for the customer, table choice on reservations and daily dish warnings.
The daily dish becomes a category across every menu and the POS, seating from the waitlist opens a session with a PIN, one-click deposit refunds and dozens of improvements.
New Cron/Automation page: your cron command ready to copy, the health of every automated task, statistics and a run-now button. More reliable dailies.
The Daily Dish is now managed by day: each day gets its own page, sides follow the meal, and choice lists keep themselves up to date.
QR codes stop changing after they are printed, products gain manual ordering, the pre-update backup becomes a real one, and 17 reported points are resolved.
The Volta deposit (SDR) arrives for restaurants in Portugal, and refunds become a complete system - by item or by amount, with honest analytics.
Closing the in-browser validation campaign: stricter analytics consent, sessions end when users are deactivated, better legibility and touch targets across the app, and a long list of fixes.
Stronger branch isolation for payments and bookings, receipts that respect preferences, the house logo on exported reports and a handful of finishing touches.
Updating and restoring got safer: explicit confirmations, backups that no longer fire mid-update, security headers on every page, last-administrator protection and analytics only with your consent.
A dedicated dark-theme logo, the browser color follows your theme, the reservation and takeaway widget gets full dark mode, and settings now tell the truth: what you cannot save shows up as read-only.
Accounts now remember the customer language and emails and SMS go out in it; email gets the "not configured" warning SMS already had; an empty SMS leaves a trace; and coupons can arrive by SMS too.
Promotions, Google Calendar sync, report timestamps and date shortcuts now all count days and hours in the timezone of the restaurant - not the server or the device.
Critical actions now require the master settings permission, team managers can open their own users, the settings hub lands on the right tab, and the onboarding guide only shows steps you can actually take.
Item discounts become promotions (converted automatically), customers see how much they saved on every channel, newsletters gain SMS, the widget shows the promotions it was already charging, and the bell warns when a promotion runs out or a campaign finishes.
Reservations linked to the customer account, the widget creates first-class reservations visible in the kitchen, identical availability across every channel, a bell for the waitlist, and widget deposits that follow the payment rules.
The customer portal becomes customers-only, staff gets a full per-customer dossier, guest purchases join the account after e-mail verification, and repeat no-show customers now pay a deposit to book.
Online payments now honour the switch everywhere, a payment closes the table even with the browser gone, paid orders cannot be deleted, and the receipt is the same document on every surface - with the tax ID behaving as it should.
The embeddable widget reaches parity with the site - coupons, payment policies enforced and readable errors - and staff can cancel-and-refund paid orders with automatic Stripe refunds. Emails now speak the customer's language.
The public menu now runs on the same engine as the table menu - with allergen notes, daily dish and consistent promotions - each item picks its channels (dine-in, takeaway or POS only), and order tokens grow a 4th digit past 999.
Each branch gets a single schedule that rules everything - QR menu, reservations, buffet, daily dish and the "open now" status - with holidays and closed days, smart warnings and server-side protection against out-of-hours orders.
Multi-branch now belongs to the Pro plan with the Extra branch addon, surplus branches never lose data - they freeze, warn and archive with a 30-day grace window - and you can archive or delete branches safely.
The KDS, the floor view and the Head Chef role become available on every plan, "coming soon" features are now truly sealed off, and the app gets easier to use by touch.
A new SMS templates page, automatic confirmations for takeaway and reservations, opt-in-only marketing and correct times in any timezone.
Bigger touch targets, keyboard navigation everywhere, fixed contrast, a clearer setup area and stricter access rules for the QR menu.
Backups that always finish, only genuine backup files accepted, restores that recover on their own and an update screen that no longer reloads in a loop.
The installed app now shows your restaurant name and logo, the POS cart is more reliable and security got a broad hardening pass.
Safer automatic updates: stronger cryptographic verification, protection against old versions and a recovery channel for emergencies.
