Kitchen display for everyone
The Kitchen Display System is no longer exclusive to the Standard and Pro plans: starting with this version, every plan gets access to the kitchen screen, the floor view (with the per-branch switch you already know) and the Head Chef role. A Basic-plan restaurant living off counter orders and takeaway now gets the same organised kitchen as everyone else.
And a new guarantee: if you ever change plans, the Head Chef role is no longer deactivated in the process - your team keeps working without interruptions. QR-code table ordering stays as it was, on the Standard and Pro plans.
What says “coming soon” is now truly closed
Features marked as coming soon - deliveries, automatic invoicing, PayPal, inventory and third-party integrations - are now blocked end to end, not just hidden from the screen. The POS refuses delivery orders even if someone tries to force them through, PayPal notifications are ignored and logged, inventory alerts do not fire, and Google Drive left the backup destination selector until it is properly ready. Fewer surprises, zero half-features.
A more transparent licence
The Licensing page now shows your licence’s due date, and the system rechecks it on its own once a day. If the licence expires, you are not locked out: your profile, your password and the daily dish remain accessible - because the menu of the day cannot wait for a renewal.
The staff performance report has moved house: it now belongs to the Analytics & Reports addon, next to the other reports, instead of Marketing.
Easier to use by touch
A full accessibility pass on phone and tablet: every button, tab and icon now has at least 44 pixels of touch area, text contrast meets accessibility standards in both themes, and tabs that did not fit the screen now stack instead of clipping. On tablet, the sidebar collapses to give the content all the space - on the KDS it makes all the difference. The page title on the phone is readable again, and the keyboard focus ring is consistent across every button on the kitchen screen.
Version 0.10.1 is available now and reaches installations through the built-in updater, as usual.
