TapNTable 0.10.2: multi-branch done right, with a safety net
Multi-branch: clear rules
The branch model is now simple to explain: every plan includes 1 branch, and whoever needs more adds the Extra branch addon on the Pro plan - each unit buys one more branch. The Licensing page now shows exactly where you stand: how many branches you created, how many are active and how many are frozen, with a direct shortcut to manage them.
The limit now counts created branches, not just active ones - alternating activations to stretch one licence is no longer possible.
Changing plans never deletes anything
If you downgrade and end up with more branches than the new limit allows, nothing is lost: all branches freeze and you choose which ones to reactivate within the limit. The rest stay intact for 30 days, with a visible countdown on each one - and if you upgrade again within that window, the clock simply stops. Only after the 30 days are the still-frozen branches archived: they disappear from the application, but the data - orders, invoices, history - stays stored.
A lapsed licence never starts this clock: branches deactivated over licence problems or put into maintenance by you are not touched.
Archiving and deleting branches
Branch management gained the actions it was missing, with strong confirmation (you type the branch name to confirm). A branch with orders or reservations is always ARCHIVED - it leaves the application and the plan counts, but the history stays stored. Only a branch with no activity at all can be truly deleted. The restaurant’s last branch cannot be archived - one must always exist.
Accessibility touches
A continuation of the previous version’s accessibility pass, now on the branches and licensing pages: every button, confirmation field and the branch selector meet the 44-pixel touch area on phone and tablet, and the modal close button - the smallest target in the whole application - now has a decent touch area on every screen.
Version 0.10.2 is available now and reaches installations through the built-in updater, as usual.
