TapNTable 0.10.21: Daily Dish and Reservations

The daily dish becomes a category

The daily dish no longer lives in a separate block: it now shows up as its own category in the category slider - on the table menu, takeaway, the public page, the widget and the POS. Picking it shows the day’s dishes with their inclusions (soup, drink, coffee…) and the selection wizard guides the rest. The summary, the cart and the receipt all say the same thing, and a group with no available options no longer shows up as “No thanks” on an order where the customer never saw it.

Seating from the waitlist is now complete

Seating a walk-in from the waitlist now opens the table session: the host gets the PIN on screen right away, the PIN is visible on the table card and in the KDS, and the kitchen can close the table like any other. No more “stuck” tables nobody could free.

Deposit refunds without workarounds

Refunding a reservation deposit is now available right on the reservations list, and staff with the right permission can force a refund inside the policy window - with a clear warning about what they are doing. When the policy does not allow refunds, the buttons simply do not appear.

Takeaway tracking adds up

The takeaway order tracking page now itemises discounts - coupon, promotion, loyalty tier - and the tip, line by line and in the total. What the customer adds up is what the total shows.

Tables, shifts and more

  • Tables gain an optional minimum party size, used by reservations to suggest the right table.
  • A shift saved outside the branch’s opening hours now carries a permanent warning on the grid, not just a toast at save time.
  • The email suppression list became readable on phones, and notifications open smoothly on every settings page.
  • Polished Portuguese translations and hardened protection of the account email templates.
